After EA Sports’ FIFA 17 production team threw a curveball at us by releasing the forward trio of Team of the Year Ronaldo, Suarez, and Messi first instead of its traditional one day release of Friday, it looks like a return to normalcy is in the cards.
Beginning at 1 p.m. ET (6 p.m. GMT), the next three cards in the Team of the Year release cycle, the midfielders, will find their way into packs. As we already knew, those three are Real Madrid’s duo of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos and Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta. Modric in particular looks like a hell of a card; almost a combination of Kante and Gullit.
While YouTubers and streamers have been putting thousands of dollars into FIFA Points with little ROI to this point, you can expect to see more and more “I PULLED TOTY!!!” videos from your favorites. These cards should have a higher pack rate given their source cards than the three that came before them.
Here’s a closer look at the ratings for the next three Team of the Year cards set to drop:

Though it was expected they’d be in packs for their usual two days, a message in-game tweeted by friend of FUT Nation Marshall89HD seems to indicate otherwise:

We could see the defenders and Manuel Neuer out tomorrow at 1 p.m. and then the whole team available Saturday at the same time.
