EA released yet another pair of orange cards into packs on Friday; this time, it included Basel defensive powerhouse and Ivorian international Serey Dié and RC Deportivo’s Fayçal Fajr, a lesser known center attacking midfielder from Morocco.

This is the third edition/release of the ‘International Man of the Match’ cards. The orange cards include huge overall upgrades for the two players’ non-rare gold cards. Dié goes from a 76 to an 82 overall, and Fajr makes the five-point jump from 77 to an 82 overall.

Dié’s shooting stats get a big boost (+12). Other big upgrades include defending (+6) and passing (+6). There’s a decent upgrade in the physical stats as well (+4).

Fajr’s card get a pretty even upgrade. None stand out more than the seven-point increase in passing stats (79 to 86). He also gets a six-point boost in dribbling (77 to 83) and shooting (72 to 78).
Neither card really jumps out. Dié’s suffers from the fact that he plays in the relatively obscure Swiss Super league, while a better replacement can be easily found for Fajr in La Liga Santander. These seem to benefit just the collectors, just like some of the earlier iMOTM releases.
The two cards will only be available for the next 24 hours (7 p.m. ET, 12 a.m. GMT).
