FIFA Mobile Impact Player Confirmed Upgrades for 5/23

A big upgrade to end Impacts

With the majority of leagues where EA pick the Impact players from coming to an end, this may be the final batch of players to receive this type of card.

As always, we are looking out for the number of Shots, Key Passes and Interceptions they make to find out their upgrade.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos (83 CB)

In a game that looks like the relegation play-off decider, Hamburg host Wolfsburg in a must-win game for the hosts. They sit two points behind their opponents so need a win to avoid playing in the play-off for the third time in four seasons.

Papadopolous has been a solid addition at the back since he joined in the winter break, and in terms of Impact scores, has scored a +8 in two of the last four weeks. I can see Wolfsburg controlling the majority of the match, which should give the Greek defender the chance to make a few interceptions, but also have a shot from an attacking set piece.

Plays: Wolfsburg (H), Saturday 2:30pm (BST)/ 9:30am (ET)

Prediction: +5

Result: +3

Hamburg kept their status as the only Bundesliga club who has not been relegated as they scored an 88th minute winner against Wolfsburg, to win 2-1, meaning they leapfrog their opponents in the table and avoid the relegation playoff at the expensive of Wolfsburg.

Papadopoulos made 3 Interceptions but had no attacking influence, so will go to 86 Overall.

Deyverson (78 ST)

Alaves will be looking to round off a great first season in La Liga with a win over Leganes. They are currently 9th in the table and are battling with Eibar and Espanyol for 8th to 10th spots.

Deyverson hasn't been in great form recently, averaging a +2 upgrade over his last 4 matches. I can’t see him improving on that drastically, so he will hopefully still make it to an Elite rating.

Plays: Leganes (A), Saturday 6:00pm (BST)/1:00pm (ET)

Prediction: +3

Result: +0

Deyverson was not included in the squad for Alaves, so will receive no upgrade.

Kyle Naughton (77 RWB)

Naughton's goal last weekend secured safety for the Swans, as Hull lost to Crystal Palace. They will be wanting to give their home fans a show on the last day of the season and, with nothing to play for, they should give it a good go. They have been in great form recently, with 10 points from their previous 12 available, while opponents West Brom have managed just 1 from their last 18.

Not known for going forward much, I can see Naughton having a fairly quiet game, but making a couple of key passes or interceptions.

Plays: West Bromwich Albion (H), Sunday 3:00pm (BST)/ 10:00am (ET)

Prediction: +2

Result: +3

Swansea had to come from behind to grab a 2-1 win against West Brom as they moved up to 15th in the league.

Naughton had 1 Shot, 1 Key Pass and 1 Interception which will boost him to 80 Overall.

Panagiotis Tachtsidis (76 CDM)

This week's highest average scorer is Cagliari's Greek midfielder Tachtsidis. Cagliari travel to Sassuolo in a game for pride, as the visitors sit 1 point ahead of their opponents in 12th and 14th places respectively. They will be hoping that they can end a run of 6 games where their form is fairly mixed (LWLWLW) with a positive result to see them finish ahead of their opponents.

In his last 4 matches, Tachtsidis has had 7 Shots, 9 Key Passes and 5 Interceptions, which makes him look like good investment potential. I can see him matching that form in a fairly open game, and hopefully reaching an Elite rating or just above

Plays: Sassuolo (A); Sunday, 2:00pm (BST)/ 9:00pm (ET)

Prediction: +4

Result: +8

A bad final day of the season for Cagliari saw them on the wrong end of an 8 goal thriller, ending up 6-2 losers.

Tachtsidis did very well though, having 1 Shot and making 3 Key Passes and 4 Interceptions, boosting his rating to 84 Overall.

Emiliano Sala (76 ST)

His 2 goals and 1 assist last weekend may make him seem like a good Impact player, but don't let that fool you. His 4 shots last weekend was all he managed in his previous 3 appearances which doesn't bode well for him.

In a meaningless match for both Nantes and Lille, it's hard to say exactly what will happen, but Sala should start for Nantes, and will probably make a couple of shots. However, it'll be a bit of a stretch to reach an Elite rating.

Plays: Lille (A), Saturday 8:00pm (BST)/3:00pm (ET)

Prediction: +2

Result: +4

Nantes season ended in disappointment after a 3-0 loss to Lille.

For us, it was a good game though, as Sala had 1 Shot and made 2 Key Passes and 1 Interception to boost himself to 80 Overall.
