‘Attack Mode’ is FIFA Mobile’s replacement for ‘Divisions’ on Console, and it’s the game’s most popular feature. If you’re new to all of this, fear not, because we’ve got you covered.
Each game involves taking two 45-minute turns, taking between 2 and 3 minutes to complete, against your opponent's defense, with the chance of having to defend against a counter attack. If the scores are tied after two turns each, then you each get one 30 minute-turn of extra time, with the match ending as a draw after that.
Each ‘Season' is 15 days long, and depending on which division you finish in, you get a different reward.
There are 13 divisions that you can progress through, with each one giving you a different reward for leveling up; you gain more fans per turn and a larger reward depending on which division you finish in:
Divisions
Amateur 3: 0-1,999 fans
Amateur 2: 2,000-4,999 fans
Amateur 1: 5,000-9,999 fans
Pro 3: 10,000-19,999 fans
Pro 2: 20,000-49,999 fans
Pro 1: 50,000-99,999 fans
World Class 3: 100,000-199,999 fans
World Class 2: 200,000-499,999 fans
World Class 1: 500,000-999,999 fans
Legendary 3: 1,000,000-1,999,999 fans
Legendary 2: 2,000,000-4,999,999 fans
Legendary 1: 5,000,000-9,999,999 fans
Fifa Champion: 10m+ fans
When you’re just starting out with the game, don’t get disappointed and give up quickly if you lose a few games and can’t score that many. Many people will have much better teams than you when you start out, but hopefully you won’t face too many people who have incredible teams, as the game does have a rough matchmaking system, which attempts to only show people who are a similar level, division and team overall.
As long as you score a few goals each turn, you should still be able to grow in fans, with you gaining more fans with the more goals you score - with 7+ goals all being rewarded the same amount.
You have two ways of shooting. Pressing and holding/swiping the shoot button, or swiping on the screen in the direction you want to shoot.
Using the shoot button, you can hold for a power shot, press and swipe down for a finesse shot, or press and swipe up for a chip shot, with each shot having power if you hold it for longer.
By swiping on the screen, you have far more control over where your shot goes.
One of the easiest ways to score using a swipe shot is by curving it like this:

These shots are great for curling it round a keeper of any ability, on any level of difficulty. Once you are able to master this, you should find scoring becomes far easier, and you are able to progress up the divisions more quickly.
One good tip for gaining fans as quickly as possible is that when you division up, reject all games that you currently have that are on Turn 2/4. This won't warm your fan count, but because the game was started when you were in a lower division, you will receive less fans for playing turns in that match than if you reject the game and challenge someone else, or even rematch the same person.
If the game is on Turn 3/4 or 4/4, then it will count as a forfeit and you will lose fans.
Depending on which division you finish in, you will receive a different token as a reward. These tokens can be traded in to receive a untradeable player, with better tokens, and a greater variety of players, being the reward for finishing in a higher division.
All of this is explained in more detail in another one of our posts, which helps explain how the reward system works in more detail.
