Sunday night, the winners for the English Football League Awards, which includes players from the Championship, League One, and League Two, were announced at the Hilton Park Lane in central London.
Here’s a look at the winners and the awards they won:
The 2017 EFL Award winners
- Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season: Anthony Knockaert (Brighton & Hove Albion)
- Sky Bet League One Player of the Season: Billy Sharp (Sheffield United)
- Sky Bet League Two Player of the Season: John Marquis (Doncaster Rovers)
- EFL Young Player of the Season: Ollie Watkins (Exeter City)
Additionally, EA awarded these four with their very own ‘Hero’ cards, otherwise distinctly described as purple.

Of the four, Brighton & Hove’s Anthony Knockaert looks to be the best one to invest your time and money in. Four of his six base stats are in the 80s and 75 Physical is nothing to laugh at for a right-midfielder.
Besides that, nothing really to point out here — except maybe Ollie Watkins 87 Pace for a central midfielder. Decent.
